Why not treat yourself to some well deserved “me time” and come along to Suzanne’s studio and learn how to make some beautiful fused glass jewellery? This creative workshop is ideal for those who enjoy arts and crafts and would like a gentle introduction to the world of fused glass jewellery making. This creative workshop is always popular with mothers and daughters, family and friends who wish to spend some quality, creative time together.
You will have the opportunity to create two pairs of earrings and up to four necklace pendants. Your glass jewellery will make gorgeous gifts… if you can bear to give any of them away!

Suzanne will demonstrate imaginative and creative effects using a variety of specialist art glass.
You can be assured of individual tuition and step by step guidance enabling you to design and create with confidence.
After your creative workshop Suzanne will fire your glass in a specialist kiln here at Seabird Studio. This process, taking over 24 hours, accurately heats and cools your glass to fuse and join the pieces together. As it will not be possible for you to take your glass home on the day you will receive full instructions on how to attach jewellery findings (pendant loops and ear wires) to complete your glass jewellery at home. Your silver plated jewellery findings are all included in the price of the creative workshop.
After your glass has been kiln fired Suzanne will carefully package and post your glass on to you at no additional cost.
HOW TO BOOK YOUR CREATIVE WORKSHOP
· Choose a group of between two and four friends/family for your creative workshop.
· Choose one glass making workshop you would all like to do. Please note: all participants will be taught the same workshop.
· Email Suzanne with a preferred date you would like to have your workshop. suziecampbelldesign@icloud.com
· Suzanne will check availability for your suggested date. Once you and Suzanne have agreed on a date for your workshop please pay online via this website. Payment for your workshop will secure your chosen date.
· How to pay: Please add the number of participants you would like for your chosen workshop to your online basket and proceed to the checkout. Note: there is a minimum of two and maximum four participants per workshop. The price of the workshop is per person.
· All glass and materials required for your chosen projects are included in the price.
This is an Inclusive Ability Creative Workshop
During Suzanne’s art and design teaching career she has met many people who find it challenging to use their hands to grip or squeeze hand tools. Or, perhaps, you just don’t feel like cutting glass but would still like to make some glass goodies!
In response to this Suzanne has created Inclusive Ability Creative Workshops which do not involve any glass cutting. Instead, participants have a choice of pre-cut glass which is prepared by Suzanne in advance of the workshop.
Whilst Seabird Studio is on the ground floor please contact Suzanne via email to discuss any studio access queries you may have. Seabird Studio is not fully wheelchair accessible due to a number of shallow steps and shingle parking area and footpaths.
Some of the glass making processes will require standing up for periods of time. Please bear this in mind when considering a workshop.
