WINTER PEACE DOVE limited edition signed print by Natasha Newton

I created the original Winter Peace Dove painting in watercolour and acrylic gouache on paper. The dark, inky blue watercolour worked beautifully for the night sky, whilst the layers of acrylic gouache used for the bird create an interesting texture and depth. I wanted to paint something that embodied the peaceful and magical atmosphere of the winter season, and would be the perfect companion for Suzanne's very special handmade glass birds.

The limited edition archival quality prints capture the depth and detail of the original painting, and each one has been hand-signed and numbered by Natasha in the studio.

LILLA BIRD glass decoration by Suzanne Campbell

Lilla means small in Swedish. Natasha and I share a love of folk art and Scandinavian inspired birds feature in both of our collections. I designed Lilla Bird with a serene blue grey colour to reflect the beautiful colour palette of Natasha’s paintings. Lilla bird delicately hangs from a loop of soft, silver grey velvet ribbon. I have made only twenty five Lilla Bird decorations for our limited edition collector’s gift boxes.

Each glass bird is individually made by me here at Seabird Studio. Glass is carefully hand cut using traditional tools. Tiny eyes and beaks are created using specialist, dichroic art glass coated with silver. Embellishments are added giving each bird its own personal character. Glass is fired in a kiln to fuse / join each fragment. This process takes approximately twenty four hours. Lilla Birds are slow made with love!

A limited edition, archival quality fine art print of Natasha's new original painting 'Winter Peace Dove'. Each print measures 7x5"/18x13cm and is hand-signed and numbered by the artist. They are carefully packaged and presented in a board-backed cellophane sleeve, sealed with a sticker featuring one of her signature little white houses. A business card depicting one of Natasha's landscapes is also included.

A limited edition glass Lilla Bird decoration presented in an organza gift bag. A heart shaped gift tag, business card and sticker depicting the Suzanne Campbell logo is also included.
